When the grandfather that primarily raised me (1912-1991) passed away, one of the things I got was his tool "sack." I still use his screwdriver. I keep it in the office drawer safe where I know where it is.
I remember him using it when I was very young and I am in my early to mid-50s now

Ja, der Fritz Reuter war in Dömitz inhaftiert. Es gibt auch überall Gedenkstein in der Gegend zu ihm. Leider ist die Festung reichlich baufällig und die Katakomben mit der Ausstellung "Im Grunde" schon seit 2 Jahren gesperrt.
