Bei Klickpads von hinten (Glasseite) mit einem kleinem Stück „Tesa“ sichern. Wenn geht, das matte, das klebt wie Rotz am Ärmel. Die Größen natürlich so wählen, dass es dezent aussieht.

I am not sure if it’s just aging, or it’s #autism getting over #ADHD (as I notice that sometimes one side of my #AuDHD manifests more, and other times - the other one), or is it because I let myself stim/fidget differently now, without a need to channel all the hyperactivity into the talking, or because I generally become less hyperactive with age. Also, not sure if it’s something good or not for me. But it’s quite strange to not just notice that, but also have that noticed by others. I feel more comfortable being silent, even though I feel like I have a lot to tell sometimes. Like, I always preferred written language to a spoken one, but I never thought I’d ever feel like I can understand the old guys giving an oath of silence: in a way, it’s more comfortable so.
I class myself as naturally a minimal speaker. I started off life with a speech delay and perhaps only learnt to speak reluctantly. I can, quite happily, go weeks, or even months, as I did in the lockdowns, without speaking to anyone and see no problem with that, even though there are plenty who do. I've given up counting the number of people, especially strangers, who have called me rude to my face, just because I've not met their requirements for phatic conversations. One of the beautiful things about my relationship with my father, who was even less of a talker than me and almost certainly an undiagnosed autistic, was that we didn't need to talk to make it work, or to get things done together. A fact that used to amaze my friends when I was a child.
This is one of the few areas where we differ markedly. I’m pretty sure I was an early talker, and loved to engage in deep & meaningful discussions about anything & everything from an early age, mostly with adults or the few close friends I had. In my early primary school years, I was “shy” with my peers outside, but couldn’t resist putting my hand up in class.
Yes… I couldn’t, & still can’t, resist the desire to engage when it’s an opportunity to learn & expand my understanding g of something. I got better at resisting as I got older, motivated to hide my interest in learning so as to attract less negative attention from my peers.
I think the "difference" is less about biology and more about conditioning. When I was a young girl there was a lot of pressure to behave in a certain way (like a girl!) Maybe that forced me to interact with people early on. BTW, I was the same, I had Deep and Meaningful conversations at the age of 3 - apparently! @pathfinder
I'm good with a deep and meaningful conversation, nothing I like better, it's the rest I don't always see the point of. Unfortunately, the NT world is driven by a lot of pointless conversations, it's how they bond and determine hierarchical relationship. Being perceived as male, does give you a certain privilege to omit it, certainly more than being perceived as female with perhaps the higher requirements for females to maintain these types of conversations and also, perhaps, making deep and meaningful harder. But the simple fact is, that in NT society the pressure is always on to speak and the emphasis on that being the only truly meaningful way of communicating really is quite annoying, let alone harmful. As I like to say, I'm actually talking all the time, you're just not paying attention because it's not in words.

I feel like all the recent events, without any real time to breathe and recover, they've been overwhelming me. I kept pushing myself, even though I knew that I needed to relax. But, every time I thought that I could relax... Something else happened again...
The laundry is tumbling in the washing machine. And I'm sweaty on the mill. Slow speed to keep my hip happier, but I did set it to a 4% incline. That's what's causing me to sweat 😅.
I want to walk for half an hour. Then the laundry can be hung up, and after that, I can wash up and relax a bit.
My weight is still just below the 81, but now I wanted it to be below 80 before the surgery. I really fear that, those 6 weeks after the surgery, I'll gain too much weight again, and I'll hate myself for it...

I got to go to Regina's Vaisakhi celebration today (officially called "Khalsa Day Parade" because Vaisakhi was actually more than a month ago, but it's too cold in late April for an outdoor food celebration in Regina).
I ate SO MUCH and it was all amazing, free, vegetarian Punjabi food. Vaisakhi might be my favourite holiday. While the Regina Vaisakhi really doesn't compare with the one in Surrey, BC (where I lived for a couple of years), it's still very excellent and I am very full!
