2. Afternoon walk. But look to one side and all that changes, and we have the sort of drama we associate with #Assynt landscpae and #weather at this time of the year
3. Afternoon Walk. We climbed up to the heights to say afternoon to the big rock in the stone wall up there, and the beach waterscape changed again, this time encompassing that light.
5. Afternoon walk. I'll spare you the full number of photos of the rooster-tailing waves, as you'll find yourself needing to sing "O, Fortuna" from Carmina Burana, and going out to buy some aftershave. Sors salutis et virtutis michi nunc contraria est affectus et defectus semper in angaria. hac in hora sine mora corde pulsum tangite; quod per sortem sternit fortem, mecum omnes plangite!
6. Afternoon Walk Right, after calming down, because the tenor part of "O Fortuna" (yes, the same cry your cat yells when it's hungry and you give it cabbage - "Oh, for tuna") is very high, and these days, unsustainable. But now we could turn to face the land again.
For those who mercifully were spared having to see the advert I was talking about earlier, this is it. I'd forgotten all about the Gratuitous Crossfade to Woman's HairToss in the middle. Even that couldn't stop the first of the comments: "The first time I wore this a love interest said that I smelt like her granddad. That was the last time I wore it." youtube.com/watch?v=wtUFifxGLK…
@cbleslie Yes, our neighbour's surfing son-in-law agrees. I tried surfing once, in my teens, ended up under the board, under water, saw my life frittering away before my salted eyes, was spat out onto the beach and vowed never again a vow, by Poseidon, I have kept since.

"O Fortuna" always evokes those knights in ridiculously shining armour hopping along through the forest, brandishing ridiculously shining swords.
(Disclaimer: Actually, I like "Excalibur".)
