How much EU is in DNS4EU?
This is another post that started after several toots on mastodon. Most of the things presented here were already tooted by other people, but I think this is a good chance to write a mini tutorial about what to look at.Techlog

I know you're being sarcastic here, but as an EU company that likes to not rely on US services, I too use Cloudflare and Google Workspace after long deliberation because I just couldn't find viable alternatives in the EU. So I'd be interested to hear what you would recommend to pick instead. Some self-hosted, partially working Nextcloud BS, 1&1 webmail and OVH cloud CDN?

That'd be about 500€ more than I currently pay for that calculation, would mean more inconvenience for me and my users because they'd have to use many different services that won't be fully interoperable, and I still think that not even that will be a viable option with only EU-based services.
THAT is my problem.

for the CDN stuff: bunny.net
and for the VPN part: netbird.io
but yes, that's probably more expensive and a little less convenient than using Google and Cloudflare
