They're not Jews. Which is the reason that the *current* Auschwitz maintainers don't bother to look up their non-captivity pictures (which they do for Jewish Holocaust victims).

Neither do the *current* Auschwitz maintainers tell the story of these two Dutch men and they don't correct their database.

Prisoner number 23610 (victims.auschwitz.org/victims/…) was known as "Sef Janssen". His birth name was "Jozef Antoon Hubert Janssen" (see openarchieven.nl/rhl:8b0c6e62-…). His release is not even mentioned.

Prisoner number 23611 (victims.auschwitz.org/victims/…) was not "Johann Giesen" but "Jan Giesen". His birth name was "Jan Pieter Antonius Giesen" (see archief.venlo.nl/collecties/bu…). His release is not even mentioned.

Note: according to the second link, Sef Janssen was born on 21-06-1914 (Blerick), but that may be a typo in that article.
